Led by individuals with firsthand refugee experience, the Kateb Hazara Association, the largest Hazara organization in New South Wales, champions the challenges confronting newly arrived Hazara community members. Notable projects, including acquiring community properties, hosting cultural events, and engaging in COVID suppression, showcase KHA’s commitment.
Leaders, rooted in health and welfare, collaborate with organizations like STARTTS and Settlement Services International, providing vital support to Hazara evacuees. KHA’s initiatives offer long-term accommodation, essential items, emotional support, and community engagement, unveiling profound insights into the needs and strengths of the Afghan cohort.
